Choosing a coin
| Coin | Why use it | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| USDT / USDC | Stable value — no price swings | Pick the right network (e.g. ERC-20 vs TRC-20) |
| Litecoin (LTC) | Fast and cheap | Price volatility |
| Bitcoin (BTC) | Widely available everywhere | Higher fees and slower when busy |
| Ethereum (ETH) | Popular, widely supported | Gas fees can spike |
Depositing
- Buy crypto on a reputable exchange.
- On Stake, go to Wallet → Deposit, choose the coin and network.
- Copy the address (and destination tag/memo if shown).
- Send a small test amount first if it's your first time.
- Wait for network confirmations.
Withdrawing
- Go to Wallet → Withdraw and select the coin.
- Paste your own wallet or exchange address — on the matching network.
- Enter the amount, confirm with 2FA, and submit.
Crypto transactions can't be reversed. Wrong network or wrong address = funds likely lost.
Safety tips
- Enable 2FA on both Stake and your exchange.
- Never share seed phrases — Stake will never ask for them.
- Beware of fake "support" accounts on social media.
- Keep records of transactions for tax purposes where required.
