What is Stake Keno?
Keno is a lottery-style Stake Original. The board has 40 numbers. You pick between 1 and 10 of them, then 10 numbers are drawn at random. Your payout depends on how many of your picks were drawn (your “hits”) and how many numbers you picked.
How to play Keno on Stake
- Set your bet.
- Pick 1–10 numbers on the board — or use Auto Pick.
- Choose a risk level (on Stake: Classic, Low, Medium or High) — it reshapes the payout table.
- Click Bet and watch the 10 numbers get drawn.
Keno odds
With 10 numbers drawn from 40, each single pick has a 25% chance of being drawn. The more numbers you pick, the more hits you need for a big payout — and the rarer those big payouts become.
| Numbers picked | Chance of hitting all of them |
|---|---|
| 1 | 25% |
| 2 | ≈5.8% |
| 3 | ≈1.2% |
| 5 | ≈0.03% |
| 10 | ≈0.000001% |
Keno tips
- Which numbers you pick doesn't matter — every number has the same chance. “Hot” and “cold” numbers are a myth.
- Fewer picks = more frequent small wins. More picks = rare, large wins.
- Check the payout table in the game before each session — it changes with your risk level and picks.

Stake Keno FAQ
How does Stake Keno work?
You pick 1 to 10 numbers from 40. Ten numbers are drawn and you're paid according to how many of your picks were drawn.
Are some Keno numbers luckier?
No. Every draw is random and independent, so every number has the same chance each round.
How many numbers should I pick in Keno?
Fewer numbers give smaller, more frequent wins; more numbers give bigger but much rarer wins.
Is Stake Keno provably fair?
Yes. Like all Stake Originals, each draw can be verified with the provably fair tools.
