How Stake rakeback is calculated
Rakeback is a share of the house edge, not of your bets. The calculator works it out in two steps:
- Expected cost = amount wagered × house edge.
- Rakeback = expected cost × your rakeback rate.
Example: $10,000 on slots with a 3.5% edge has an expected cost of $350. At a 5% rakeback rate you'd get about $17.50 back.
Which rakeback rate should I enter?
Public guides report Stake rakeback at roughly 3.5%–5% of the house edge, and it can differ by rank. Check the rakeback section in your Stake VIP area for your exact figure. More in our Stake rakeback guide.
